How to open the Overlord gate
How do you get closer to the signal encountered in Shattered Rise massive sealed gate. There's no way to open it in this set area when you first get to it, so you'll have to head down the path to the side.
Continue through this region until you unlock the teleporterwhich will bring you back to that specific gate. Once there, interact with glowing tank to your rightthereby breaking the seal on the gate.

You can then head inside where you will be find several enemies blocking the path forward. Defeat them to reveal a large hole leading underground. Jump down when you're ready to face the Overlord.
How to beat the prophet boss
He is a prophet the first real boss Arjun encounters on Carcosmeaning he's a formidable foe unlike any you've seen before. The fight is divided into three phaseswhile each is increasingly challenging.
Phase one strategy
The first phase begins with several star-shaped enemies on the wallsprotecting the core of the Prophet. You will have to defeat them to gain the Prophet's attention, where on Wednesday it will open up and shoot projectiles at you.
Absorb them to activate your shield, then strike the Prophet. Once vulnerable, the Prophet will be send out waves of damaged projectiles in diagonals. Onot to each side, then a wave that's the level. Go through them staying alive while continuing to fire on the Prophet's core.
Phase Two Strategy
One day you defeat the Prophet to get to the second stage, it's not that different from the first one. But the prophet will send smaller enemies to attack. These ground enemies spread corruption across the land, so quickly dispatch them and then clear the walls one more time.
Sometimes ground enemies release aether, so pick it up!
From there you will have to jump to avoid corruption and dash to avoid the pattern from before. Continue to chip away at the Prophet's health until it reaches zero when the final turn begins.
The third phase strategy
Prophet's the most dangerous phase is the last where it separates from the arena into a single lane of projectiles. Not only that repeat the pattern of corruption it is released in waves, but the floor will continue pulse with projectile rings.
At this point it is a skill test. You will have to predict the Prophet's attack pattern, jumping from side to side while keeping your distance to give yourself time to react.
Don't bother trying to block because you'll just succumb to the corruption.
Shoot continuously to deal damage to the Prophet. A perfect reload will increase your firepower and the speed at which you can charge between magazines. Aim to get the perfect charge every time and you'll beat the Prophet in no time!
Once the prophet is defeated, follow the path to the left in his wake to unlock another area.
