How to level up fast in Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp Complete

Unlocking more animals requires you to level up your Camp Manager Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp complete. By level 76, you should have every animal in the game except those locked on Villager Maps. Leveling up gets more difficult as you level up, so you'll want to be consistent with the requirements and talk to the visitors at your campsite/lodge to get as many friendship points as possible. Another motivation for leveling is its benefits, as it's a surefire way to get leaf tokens and expand your inventory.

How to farm experience

Quick settlement tips

When you talk to an animal that appears on the map, you get +2 friendship points. The animals that appear will always have requests to finish. Completing them, talking to the animals, giving them gifts, and changing their clothes will all provide an experience at the level of friendship of the animal in question. When an animal levels up, you gain experience to the level of a camp leader.

Animals don't stay on the map forever. Every three hours, they switch with a different animal. When this happens, you will also have new requirements. Don't forget to talk to everyone within three hours.

If you have an animal in your campsite/cabin, they will stay there until you kick them out. If you arrive at your campsite/cabin during the three hour cycle, you will receive list of visiting animals that want to talk to you. This is an opportunity to earn more friendship points. Select “Tell me a story!” will sometimes prompt you to choose furniture/clothes as a gift for another animal. Each animal has its own style, but you still get +6 friendship points even if they don't like the gift.

It is important to know that friendship points can only be earned when you are dialog options selection in red. For example, by selecting “Change clothes!” when it is highlighted, you get +2 points. If you talk to the animal again, you'll notice “Change clothes!” they will be written in plain text. This means that you cannot earn friendship points by selecting the same option twice in a row.

Equipment

You can also gain friendship points from multiple animals at once by building equipment. Each piece of equipment has its own type, and if the animal's type matches the equipment, it will gain more experience than one that doesn't. The animals that are selected are random, but if there is someone you are trying to level, you should make sure they are in your camp before the equipment is completed.

However, gear can take days to craft, but once you have it in your camp, you can upgrade it with bells and materials to keep earning friendship points. When the equipment is level 4, you can upgrade it to level 5/max level. If you do, it will take 3-4 days to build, so keep that in mind.

Giving refreshments

Snacks are items you collect that can be given to animals (the “Snack!” option). Each snack has a type, so to get the most out of gift giving, you should choose a snack that matches the type of animal. For example, a plain waffle is a nature-themed snack, so you get more points for giving it to a nature-themed animal like Goldie than you would to an unnatural animal like Agnes.

If you're using Gulliver's Ship, you can unlock Villager Maps golden islands. Villager maps can then be used on Blathers's Treasure Trek to collect bronze, silver and gold. Getting all the souvenirs from the gold/village island will net you 20 gold treats. If you already have every villager map, you can get bronze/silver/gold treats by completing requirements or completing Isles of Style. Unlike regular snacks, bronze/silver/gold treats are universally liked and are of the “general” type. They always give +3, +10 and +25 friendship points.

Pet Application Tips

What should you give?

animal crossing pocket camp complete fish

You can fill out requests in bulk by selecting Pete's Parcel Service. If you have items, you can send them and get friendship points without having to talk directly to the animals themselves. Most requests require you to deliver collected items such as fruit or bugs.

Other times, a request for one fruit, bug, or fish will appear. These requests allow you to choose which item to give. While it may be tempting to just give them common items, you may want to choose some of these higher value. Higher quality gifts will sometimes give you bonus rewards and extra experience. Donating rarer items will also give you 1500 bells. Some recommended pet items:

  • Perfect fruit (except non-local)

  • Snow crab

  • Beautiful Alfonsino

  • Amberjack

  • Bird's Wing by R. Brooke

  • Moon moth

  • White scarab

When an animal reaches level 10 (or 15 for some), you can accept its special request. This will unlock the furniture that you will need to craft in order to complete the requirement. Custom furniture usually costs 9000+ bells to make along with the required materials and 10+ hours to make. Special requests take longer to complete, but it's another way to get a lot of friendship points.
