How to use Omnimovement in Black Ops 6

Black Ops 6 steps up his movement game by introducing Omnimovement. With this feature, players can now freely slide, dive and move in any direction. Previous Call of Duty the games had a two-way movement system.

Omnimovement is undoubtedly great news for those who love fast maneuvers, but it can be tricky for players who prefer a relaxed approach. Here's an overview what you need to know about Omnimovementalong with some nifty ones Black Ops 6 tips to help you get the most out of it.

What is Omnimovement in CoD: Black Ops 6?

Omnimovement is a completely new way of moving Black Ops 6 which allows you to move in any direction. The game brings back familiar moves from MW2019such as dolphin dives, tactical sprints and slides, but with an omnidirectional twist. Now each of them has been slightly redesigned to fit the new function.

Below is how each one works with Omnimovement and how you can perform them:

Tactical sprint

Tactical Sprint basically increases your sprint for a short period of time. BO6 players will have to press the Sprint input again kick it. However, it should be noted that in Black Ops 6it doesn't last as long as it used to, so you'll want to save it for when you really need that extra burst of speed, like when you want to get out of a tough spot instead of just running around.

Here are some settings we recommend tweaking for the Slide mechanics:

• Turn around Toggle Sprint Assist off. But if you want to leave it on, set it Sprint assist delay to 2 and make sure other advanced options are turned on for this tab.
• File Activating a tactical sprint on One-tap Start if you are not using Toggle Sprint Assist.

Slide

With Omnimovement you can essentially “glide” in all directions. In order to slide, players will need to press the crouch button while sprinting. Here are some settings we recommend tweaking for the Slide mechanics:

• Set Scrolling/Dive Behavior to Hybrid. This way you can glide with a tap of a button and dive with a tap while sprinting.
• Turn on Slide Maintains Sprint.

Diving with dolphins

IN Black Ops 6Dolphin Dive is a bit different from what fans have seen before Cod games. You can now shoot enemies while diving.

To dive with dolphins, hold button to crouch when you sprint.

Jacket

This isn't an Omnimovement mechanic per se, but it's still an important movement technique BO6. With this mechanic, players can climb over walls or objects that are around chest height. You will have to press the jump button to perform this movement.
