Jinhsi The best team compositions in stormy waves

Along with Verina and Spectro Rover, Spectro is one of the few playable characters, adding significant value in content where this element is beneficial. While there is some leniency in which team to use, especially for heavy content like Tower of Adversity, pair Jinhsi with characters that offer complementary buffs or sub-DPS that match her rotation.

While her older team compositions remain effective, there are now some great new synergies to explore for those looking to optimize her potential in the evolving meta.

Jinhsi + Zhezhi + Shorekeeper

Zhezhi stands out as a strong support and sub-DPS character for Carlotta, but she is one of the best options for Jinhsiespecially with the addition of the new Empyrean Anthem Echo set. This set allows Zhezhi to deal more damage through her coordinated attacks, making her an even more valuable asset to Jinhsi's team. Compared to other options like Yinlin or Yuanwu, Zhezhi offers more time on the field but still maintains a balanced presence, making it perfect for stacking Incandescence off the field. In addition, the Zhezhi Outro skill helps improve Jinhsi's Resonance Skill, further increasing its synergy.

To maximize the potential of Jinshi and Zhezhi, Shorekeeper is a great choiceas her Intro and Outro abilities can increase the Crit Rate and Crit DMG of Zhezhi and Jinhsi while her Resonance Liberation is active. This setup is highly effective for those who want to optimize their teams. For players who may already be using Shorekeeper elsewhere or don't have access to it, Youhu serves as a great F2P alternative. Youhu can provide some healing, but primarily buffs Zhezhi's damage, with her Outro ability providing massive support for coordinated attacks, making her a solid choice for players looking to build a budget-friendly team.

Jinhsi + Yinlin + Verina

Jinshi's pairing with Yinlin and Verina is currently considered her premium team, containing only 5-star characters. Teaming up with Spectro Rover and Taoqi is also a solid choice for Jinshi due to the utility of their Outro attacks and the relative ease of building this team. Taoqi being a 4 star character is more accessible and the Spectro Rover can easily be upgraded with full resonance sequences. The Spectro Rover excels as a hybrid characterable to heal team members after her Resonance release while providing decent DPS with a short combo. Her Outro ability is particularly unique, effectively stopping time for enemies, offering defensive abilities and allowing for uninterrupted combos. With Jinshi, Spectro Rover can use this Outro even more often, making them an excellent duo despite Incandescence's slower stack accumulation due to the absence of off-field DMG abilities.

Taoqi can work well in a team with Jinshi if players focus on building her as a support rather than a hybrid sub-DPS. She can heal the team to some degree if built with Rejuvenating like Rover when built correctly and provides damage reduction through her shields and DMG Resonance Skill reduction buff. However, Taoqi's most significant asset to this team is her Outro abilitywhich will improve the Resonance (Deep) ability of another character. Since Jinshi's biggest damage comes from her Resonance Skill and many of her attacks can scale with it, this buff is quite valuable. This makes Taoqi a better choice over characters like Sanhua, who instead provide an ATK buff.

Jinhsi + Yuanwu + Baizhi

• Baizhe: Support / Healer

For players interested in pairing Jinshi with freely given 4-star characters, the best option is to pair her with Yuanwu and Baizhi. Similar to Yinlin, Yuanwu requires very little field time as a sub-DPS, and much of his utility can be used while off field. He gives the team an anti-interrupt aura, helps manage the enemy stun bar, and gains additional support abilities if players can get his sequences. Yuanwu it's also excellent for quickly building up maximum glow, which makes it the best freemium sub-DPS choice for Jinshi.

Baizhi, on the other hand, plays quite similarly to Verina. It provides healing for the entire team and has a similar Outro skill that increases the damage of another character, unlike Vera's team buff. As long as players pay attention to swapping from Baizhi to Jinshi, this difference is manageable, especially considering that Outro skills will be available more often. This makes Baizhi an effective support character for Jinshi, providing constant healing and damage boosts during battles.

General rotation of Jinhsi teams

Since Jinhsi has a relatively short combo, generally based on entering the Enhanced State, players can switch between characters more often compared to some other DPS characters that require longer field times.

Overall, players will need to follow this general order for Jinhsi rotations:

Introduction> Skill (enters first buff – Incarnation)> Upgraded Skill > Echo > 4x Basic Attacks (enters 2nd buff – Ordination Glow)> 2nd Upgraded Skill (this is her high damage dealer) > Resonance Liberation > Outro.

It's worth noting that her Resonance Liberation damage (as well as echo) can be activated at any time during the spin, as long as players pay attention to the condition's duration. Additionally, players do not need to perform 4 basic attacks back to back as they will not be reset, but players must perform a 4th basic attack before the duration ends to enter the next extended state. Since taking damage from all characters will grant additional stacks of Incandance, players should also make sure to swap to characters like Yuanwu in between to ensure that more stacks can be obtained.
