KonoSuba: God's Blessings to This Wonderful World! it finally got a new season in 2024. Season 3 aired from April to June 2024, with 11 episodes. The series changed studios for this season; it was animated by Drive studios, and not by Deen (who animated both seasons 1 and 2).
Some fans felt that the pacing was boring and that the tone was not appropriate for these new episodes. Still, most people seem to recommend it anyway KonoSuba is one of the biggest isekai hits of the last decade (and some fans want to smell it too).

While KonoSuba is often praised for its comedy, there was one title in recent history that truly exemplified the phrase “isekai comedy.”
AND the official account for the anime on X (formerly Twitter) teases that there's more. They released an image of the newspaper and all we can read is the series title and “Sylvia: Akeno Watanabe”. Watanabe has voiced Sylvia since the character debuted (v Legend of Crimson movie) so it's something new that will involve Sylvia (season four, for example).
Fans are waiting for the new season
With the post teasing that Sylvia will feature in everything to come, fans are anticipating the announcement of the new season. Season 3 adapted volumes 6-7 of the original light novel. Sylvia is the main antagonist introduced in Episode 5, so there are plenty of possibilities for new projects for her to be involved in (it could even be a new movie).
We'll probably find out in March
A new OVA was announced in December 2024 and contains two new episodes for the third season. Likely to be just extra episodes that don't change the main storyline, it's scheduled for March 14, 2025 in Japan. As happened with previous OVAs, they may be released on Crunchyroll sometime later (or maybe the same day).
The point is that if a new notification comes, it is likely to be produced when the OVA premieres in Japan. So if a new season is in the works, we will probably hear about it in March.
