Diablo 4 players have discovered a way to get tons of gold very quickly in Lord of Hatred. This method involves using Diablo 4: Lord of HatredNew Talisman and Charms feature to give players a massive increase in gold drop rate. However, some players believe that this buff is so crazy that it must be unintentional and will eventually be fixed.
Blizzard recently released patch notes for more Diablo 4 update, which is scheduled to launch on May 13. Included in these notes are a number of fixes for various bugs, including re-enabling the Spiritborn's Armored Hide's Trampled Under Foot skill variant and the Uniques, The Umbracrux and The Oculus. The patch includes some nice quality-of-life changes for Talisman and Charms features, such as a new sound when a Set Charm drops and a distinct icon on the minimap, but there's no indication that this broken gold farm will be fixed in this update, so players should take advantage of it while they can.

Diablo 4: Lord of Hatred's Best Gold Farming Path Gives Players 900% Boost

Practiced Technique — +900% Gold Drop Rate
The key to getting a lot of gold Diablo 4: Lord of Hatred takes advantage of the spell set for practice. Equip at least three spells from this set Diablo 4's Talisman gives players a 25% increase in lost gold. Practical technique spells can be obtained relatively easily and most Diablo 4 players will likely already have several if they've completed the Lord of Hatred campaign, as these spells drop at pre-torture levels.

While a 25% gold drop increase doesn't sound like much, there is a way to add another huge increase to the player's gold drop rate to this set. Having the Legendary Horad Seal with the Practiced Technique suffix adds an additional set bonus that gives players a +900% gold drop rate. To obtain this legendary Horad Seal, players can use it Diablo 4's Horadric Cube to re-roll your Legendary Horadric Seals at a 3-for-1 recipe and sacrifice three seals to get a new one with a random assignment. Players simply have to repeat this process over and over until they get a seal with the practiced technique as an attachment.
A 900% increase in gold drop rate can quickly earn players enough currency for any kind of crafting, tempering, masterworking, or other terminal equipment they'll need running an activity like Nightmare Dungeons. Some players are skeptical that such a high gold drop rate was an intentional part of this affix and believe that 9% was likely the intended number. However, this extension does not appear to be affected Diablo 4's upcoming patch, so either it's intentional or the developers aren't aware of the issue yet. Therefore, players should take advantage while they can and stock up on gold for the final grind.
The downside of this Diablo 4 The gold farming method is that it requires players to equip their current set of spells. With Lord of Hatred removing passives from the Skill Tree, enchantments are the primary way players add passives to their builds. While spells practiced techniques are great for growing gold, they don't necessarily marry Diablo 4's class-specific Charms that could leave players at higher levels of Torment seriously underpowered.
