i miss you Solo leveling. Yeah, the anime (and manhwa) are divisive, but sometimes you just want to see an overpowered protagonist demolish some terrifying enemies while (seemingly) barely breaking a sweat. Now, he loves anime OP MCsand every season has at least a few shows that go in that direction; however, very few of them have production value or quality Solo leveling.
Still, these series can be a lot of fun, even if they're a little rough. More importantly, it's the good old fashioned “turn off your brain” fun that everyone needs once in a while. Fall 2025 has arguably one of the strongest lineups of anime with overpowered protagonists in a long time, including the return of One-Punch Man. As Solo leveling With Season 3 barely a flicker on the horizon, these four currently airing shows could fill the void while we wait for Sung's return. These four anime are also quite different from each other.
One-Punch Man season 3 is excluded as it does not require further promotion. Also, the new season did not start well.

A ferocious final boss appeared is basically Ruler with a female protagonist. There's really nothing wrong with that, and the anime adaptation has been great so far if you're expecting fights that are mostly one-way. The guy becomes Lufas, 200 years after the ruler was defeated in a game called Exgate. Except now it's not a game, and this new version of Lufas sets out to rebuild his army, called the Twelve Stars of Heaven.
While the story has been okay so far, A ferocious final boss appeared it's all about excesses, with Lufas demolishing enemies with style and a certain vice that only a handful of protagonists are willing to display. The fight sequences are bombastic and quite gory, which is refreshing for an isekai. MC is massively powerful from the start, so she doesn't fall under Sung's growth, but she has to learn about the current state of the world.

My gift Lvl 9999 Unlimited Gacha has the most Solo leveling the opening episode of these anime from Fall 2025. In fact, the main character, Light, ends up dead in a dungeon while staring down a terrifying enemy they can't hope to defeat, only to unlock a special ability in a short amount of time. Technically, Light always had access to the Unlimited Gacha skill, which summons random cards, but they were almost completely worthless; however, surrounded by this dungeon's mana, he manages to summon a level 9999 seeker maid who wipes the floor with the enemy.
With an underwhelming ally who sees him as his master, Light sets out for revenge against the group that tried to kill him, becoming OP in a millisecond. Like Sung's Necromancy, Light relies on summons to fight for him, as he isn't particularly strong himself. He also exists in a world that looks down on humans as the lowest of the low, which is barely different from being classified as an F-rank hunter.

Another anime isekai, My status as an assassin clearly trumps that of a hero goes the “whole class is summoned to another world” route, and the students find themselves in the presence of a kingdom ruler who desperately needs their help to depose the Demon Lord. They are assigned unique classes and Akira Oda is designated as an Assassin; however, he immediately notices that his stats are higher than those of his peers. More importantly, Akira is hesitant to buy the king's story, a decision that leads to him being accused of murder and banished.
Akira Oda's personality is strikingly similar to Sung Jin-woo's, especially after his transformation. They are brooding loners who try to hide their abilities from almost everyone and work tirelessly to become stronger. Akira even goes to the dungeon to get even quickly, much like Sung, and both are driven by their family ties. Akira even looks like Sung. Akira is a little more inquisitive and analytical, but both use their brains along with their abilities in combat.

Sanda he's weird Seriously, the whole story is about Santa Claus. Yes, the one that goes down the chimney once a year. In the anime universe, Santa Claus has become a myth, but he is actually a real entity that can manifest in his offspring when specific conditions are met. Sanda learns this the hard way after he is forced to wear a red jacket, instantly transforming him from a teenager into St. Nick the St. John's wort, which also affects a child's mind.
Sand's transformation into Santa isn't all that different from Sung's transition, with both processes involving substantial changes in the protagonist's personality that seem beyond their control. Sanda also needs to gradually learn the range of his abilities and get stronger so that he is not instantly unstoppable.
Science handles Sara Sandaso the animation is frenetic, vivid and overall fantastic. The anime looks completely different Solo levelingbut both shine in that department.
