As 2024 draws to a close, it's only natural that fans will be wondering which fall anime series stood out the most. The Fall 2024 season consisted of different types of anime, each unique in its own way. Many fans wanted to know which anime from this season came out on top.

It's hard to determine a winner when the anime is still airing, but with the official end of fall, the rankings remain mostly consistent. Using MyAnimeList it is possible to find best anime autumn 2024.

The best anime of fall 2024 was Bleach

The third course of Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War finished at the top of the rankings. As the penultimate episode, it was full of thrilling action that kept the audience on their seats. The story made some major advances that raised the stakes for the final pitch. Pierrot Films beautifully animated each episode, so it's no wonder Bleach finished first with an 8.83 rating.

Re:Zero came in second with a solid score of 8.73. The anime aired half of its third season and will return in January with the rest of the episodes.

Third place was taken by Dandadan. The anime won over the audience with its mix of action, comedy and romance. A second season has already been announced for July 2025. Natsume's Book of Friends scored 8.58 and finished in fourth place. Blue Box broadcast the first course in the fall of 2024 and it received a huge reception from the audience. It finished in fifth place.

The biggest surprise on the list was the One Piece remaster that adapted the Fish-Man Island arc. The anime changed the pace, added new filters, and improved the overall animation to make the arc more appealing to the audience.

Orb: On The Movements of the Earth is one of the biggest highlights of 2024. It is a historical drama that shows the determination of a boy who stood against all odds. Shangri-La Frontier premiered its second season in the fall of 2024. It has an excellent story for the original anime, which is supported by an even better cast of characters. It finished in eighth place.

Ranma 1/2 finished in ninth place with an 8.10 rating. It's a remake of a popular anime that improves on the slow pace of the original. Tenth place was taken by Is It Wrong To Pick Up Girls In A Dungeon? season five Widely regarded as one of Isekai's best anime, it's no shocker that it ended up among the most popular fall anime.
