More games will be coming to Switch Online in the coming months, though what they will be is anyone's guess. Meanwhile, Nintendo seems to have some big plans for the service. The company recently allowed Switch Online + Expansion Pack subscribers to sign up to test out a mysterious new feature that will launch later this month. Exactly what the feature is remains to be seen, but all the available spots were taken within seconds. Some fans have speculated that this feature has something to do with cloud gaming, but that remains to be seen.
Switch Online seems to have a bright future. Switch Online is expected to be ported to Nintendo's next-gen console, although this has yet to be officially confirmed. But with next-gen Nintendo believed to be backwards compatible, one has to imagine it would make a lot of sense for there to be continuity for the Switch Online service.
