Oda officially confirms the Yonko-level Marine

In the world one piece the navies are known to be one of the three great powers that exist to maintain balance on the seas. Marines are incredibly powerful and their strength is such that they rival even the likes of Yonko. This means that very few in the ranks of the Marines are actually Yonk level. In the old era, Garp was the only one who could be on par with Yonko or other top tiers of the era.

Oddly enough, just like the previous era of mighty marines in One pieceeven in the present day is one powerful figure. This person is none other than the current Navy Fleet Admiral and one of the strongest characters in the whole story, Fleet Admiral Akainuwhose real name is Sakazuki. Akainu was also a Vice Admiral at one point, and fans saw him as an Admiral during the events of the Paramount War arc.

Its fruit is from of the Logia type and allows him to cause widespread lava destruction. more than that Akainu's Devil Fruit he most likely appears to be awakened, in which case he may be even stronger than what fans have seen before.

Akainu also has strong Hakias shown by Oda himself in the Paramount War arc. He might also have Conqueror's Haki, as expected from someone who leads a navy. It would be absurd to assume that Akainu, the man currently leading the navy, would not have this power. All these forces together form Akainu Marine Top Level Yonko.
