Due to the scale, there may be some special announcements during the event. Therefore, it would not be surprising if the new trailer for One piece (anime remake) is revealed during a special celebration, or even a sneak peek at the second pitch of the Elbaph arc. Similar events often happen in Japan, but this is the first time Toei is bringing something like this to the US.

One Piece Anime Already covering the Elbaph Arc

The following section contains spoilers for One Piece's Elbaph arc.

From One piece returned in April, the anime began adapting the Elbaph arc, which appears to be part of the manga. This arc features many characters solving several mysteries while raising others, such as Shamrock, Shanks' brother, and Ima, who, despite being introduced in earlier arcs, is now developing more.

As for the manga, things are getting more exciting than ever, with Eiichiro Oda clearly setting things up for the upcoming Final War. Since Imu descended on Elbaph, new powers have been introduced, such as Omen (or Maki), which seems to be almost the opposite of Haki. At this point, Imu is clearly no match for the Straw Hats, but he'll probably either retreat or force Luffy to retreat.

When power is so desired to be obtained too easily — Corruption! Choosing serfdom out of self-interest — contracts! And envy that strives to achieve its goals — the power of the Sign! They make up the trio of what we call Dominance!

— Nero Imus v One Piece Chapter 1811

The Elbaph arc defines alliances and showcases forces; While it could be immediately followed by war, it's still possible that we'll get another arc before this long-awaited event that will make Summit War look like child's play while redefining the future and political order of the world in One piece.

One piece is available for streaming on Crunchyroll and Netflix.
