One Piece Lego Sets Teased

It's a great time to be a fans of One Piece. Not only will there be much more anime and manga, but the live action show One Piece Netflix was actually quite good. Unfortunately, this is not so sunny in terms of video games, because Bandai Namco canceled their One Piece and Naruto games last October, and allegedly also forced employees to end.

LEGO HORIZON Adventures lets you change yourself as PlayStation. It's cute, but I never want to see it again.

However, it seems that the collector is waiting for a great time, because One Piece is teasing to cooperate with Lego. The toy construction company has associated with almost every IP that can be imagined, and its eyes seem to be now fixed to the world of anime. What could surprise some fans is that for some reason it is a cooperation with the live action show One Piece.

One piece gets LEGO sets

This cooperation was teased through a short clip on the One Piece Netflix Twitter, which shows Luffy's outstretched arm as he raises his iconic straw hat. But where the fans expected the traditional One Piece logo, the Netflix version was a bit of confusion. Although the fans of One Piece were a little confused, they were undoubtedly enthusiastic.

No more information about this cooperation was revealed, but we can expect the entire Straw Hats, The Going Merry, Thousand Sunny and many other pirate ships from Anime and Manga. However, the potentially best thing about these sets is to see how LEGO includes Luffy's stretching skills. We could already look into the teaser, but we will certainly see more when the sets are revealed.

Regarding why LEGO cooperated with a live action version and not directly with anime, it could be speculated that it was done in this way to avoid complicated licensing problems. However, since the live action version was quite faithful to the source material, the sets will most likely feel as if they were inspired by the anime or manga itself.

“In every detail of the design process, we have worked on a careful creation of a collection of game sets that will give fans new ways to spend their own epic trips to Grand line one special cube,” said Vice President Netflix Consumer products, Josh Simon.
