MOUSE: PI for rent contains several Easter eggs for everything from classic 1930s animation to modern TV shows, popular culture and video games, Resident Evil 2 The Easter egg is so thorough and so present that nothing can compete with it. Obviously, Easter eggs are a revered legacy in video games MOUSE: PI for rent builds on years of Easter egg design. That means neither Resident Evil alone can fully compete with it.
Minor spoilers for MOUSE: PI For Hire, Resident Evil 2 Remake, and Resident Evil Requiem
For example, Resident Evil Requiem is loaded with easter eggs for the franchise. Some require an extra sharp eye, such as the toy mansion and the train in the orphanage, which refer to the original Resident Evil and Resident Evil Zero. Others require the free cam tool, such as how Grace explores events Resident Evil 7's Dulvey Incident in the Wrenwood Hotel room with her mother. Additionally, in the Rhodes Hill Chronic Care Center lounge, there is a bottle of alcohol labeled AVERNICO (which uses the same letters as Veronica, leading many to believe it is Code: Veronika Easter Egg) and Emily reads a Braille translation of the book, Village of Shadowsfrom Resident Evil Village. All this is to say Resident Evil knows how to make Easter eggs, and PI mouse for rent he's giving it a go.
I marathoned all 29 Resident Evil Games for the 30th anniversary and here is my official ranking
I played through all 29 Resident Evil games for the franchise's 30th anniversary and ranked them from worst to best.
From the RCPD to that alligator
It's hard to see the white on white in this screenshot, but it says “Welcome Leone.”
Soon in MOUSE: PI for rent's story, players enter the Mouseburg Police Department. Of course, playing with the police department is not an easter egg Resident Evil 2environment of the Raccoon City Police Department, but his exploration brings RE Requiem the vibe of the broken RCPD, as if there is a structural sense of similarity even though the police department is active. However, it provides the end of the level where players see the sign “Welcome Leone”. So no doubt a reference to the RCPD and how Leon meets him again RE Requiem.
That would be the end of many Easter eggs, but it didn't happen here. MOUSE: PI For Hire'The level structure then feels like an exploration of the 1930s view of Raccoon City. From the Mouseburg Police Department, players must travel by subway – a more obvious nod Resident Evil 3. The point is that Raccoon City is pretty similar in layout across all games. Players know that the Subway is connected to the Channel, which is explored in both Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 3 (and their remakes).
However, only in Resident Evil 2 is a giant alligator chase sequence that Leon and Ada enter. After exploring the subway and then the sewers, MOUSE players find themselves…in a battle with a giant alligator boss…except this time the alligator has a gun. Giving that gator, who is clearly a link, a gun is the most hilarious thing anyone could do in this situation.

All in all, from the moment the Mouseburg PD starts to feel like the RCPD to defeating the gator with a gun, MOUSE: PI for rent feels like new Resident Evil 2 remake. And it shows how skillfully the game uses easter eggs.
