The new events will begin just days after the departure of Infernape the Unrivaled, the seven-star Tera Raid boss. While Infernape can normally be obtained in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet by catching and evolving Chimchar, the Flame Pokémon came with some unique traits and awarded the most powerful mark to players who beat it. Since Infernape had a Rock type like a Tera type, the agile boss was vulnerable to attacks from battling Pokemon. Therefore, Pokemon trainers have built strategies around Kommo-o and Malamar to exploit Infernape's weaknesses. With Infernape now out of the Tera Raid lairs, only time will tell which Pokemon will be featured next.
