PlayStation has confirmed that it is incredibly popular PS Plus The subscription service will lose at least eight games in May 2026, one of which will be Remedy Entertainment's critically acclaimed action-adventure, Management. The upcoming removal of these PS Plus titles will only affect those subscribed to the Extra or Premium tier of the service, as Essential users do not have access to the ever-changing catalog of games.
Every first Tuesday of the month, PlayStation offers all subscribers, regardless of level, some brand new games that they can permanently claim (as long as they stay subscribed to the service). For Essential users, these are the only games available each month. But for those who have subscribed to the Extra or Premium tiers, PlayStation has a lot more to offer. Similar to Xbox Game Pass, the PS Plus game catalog has a large number of games available to play at any time. However, unlike Essential games, the game catalog regularly rotates its titles to keep things fresh. And with the new month fast approaching, it's now been confirmed which games will be leaving the service in a few weeks.

With the end of April approaching, PS Plus's “Last Chance to Play” section has now been updated, confirming that a total of eight more games will be removed from the service in May 2026. The biggest title to leave the PS Plus Extra and Premium games catalog is without a doubt Managementspecifically, the Ultimate Edition, which includes the base game, two post-launch DLC expansions, and all the extra content, such as Photo Mode and Expeditions Mode, the endgame mode. The good news is that a new batch of PS Plus Extra and Premium games for April 2026 has just been added, including another big title. While smaller indie hits such as Squirrel with a gun joined the service on April 21, AAA reports as Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered, Football Manager 26 console, and Crew Motorfest they are also added to the game catalog today. For those who subscribe to PS Plus Premium, Wild weapons 4a 2006 PlayStation 2 title, will join the classic catalog.
However, the addition of new games for April 2026 also means that some titles will be removed from the service. With the like Management and Death shell is leaving next month, time is now up to play hits like this Dave the diver, EA Sports PGA Tour, Lost Records: Bloom & Rageand many more as a total of six PS Plus Extra games were removed on April 21st.

For Essential subscribers, which is the cheapest tier of the service, there's still time to get free PS Plus games for April 2026. The new monthly games include Sword Art Online Fractured Daydream, Lords of the Fallenand Tomb Raider 1-3 Remastered. All three games are available to pick up right now until the next batch of free games is released on Tuesday, May 5th.
