Latest offer as part Steam's Free-to-Keep Promotion is a 2019 multiplayer simulation game with 90% very positive reviews on Steam and users will have a limited time to grab the game, Drift86completely free. Until June 3rd, fans can enjoy this latest Steam Free-to-Keep game.
As Steam users should know, Free-to-Keep events regularly make paid premium games completely free for a short period of time. As these are initiated publishers, they range from incredibly small indie games to major AAA titles, with two Warhamr games, for example, recently abandoned their offering. The latest one falls into the former bucket, it's a small indie game, but it's got 1700 reviews in 6 years, more than many others. It usually only sells for $2, so it's not like it's a big deal on any given day of the week. But free is free, so be sure to add it to your digital library before it expires on June 3rd.

Steam Free Sale Has 5* Upcoming 100% Free Games For June 2026
Steam's Free-to-Keep promotion is currently slated to get at least five games in June, though more are on the way and one has a minor caveat.
Drift86 is simplified, almost Hot Wheels– as a multiplayer car simulation game. At its core, it's still about racing, but more specifically about drifting, setting records, and playing with friends. It focuses on fast, slippery arcade style (again Hot Wheels style) gameplay while collecting scores. It also features over 40 cars, 30 maps, online multiplayer and an anime-inspired soundtrack.

General english reviews for Drift86 put it in the 90% very positive area, although recent reviews (small sample of 16 users) have dropped to mixed with 68% positive reviews. Positive reviews generally praise the low price for the content, the drifting mechanics, the pick-up-and-play feel, and the chaotic multiplayer fun it creates with friends. On the other end of the spectrum, people criticized its slippery handling, unrealistic physics, braking issues, and steep learning curve for its drifting. But if you take it as gaming Hot Wheels instead of playing like Forza Horizon 6then you might find yourself with the majority.
Of course, racing games aren't for everyone, and luckily there are 2 other Free-to-Keep games currently available on Steam. One of these games is a multiplayer platform game, Bunny boyswhich is as if Chained together and Autumn Guys he had a kid and that kid really loved rabbits. The last one is an endless runner, where players are a dinosaur running away from someone in a fur coat.
Overall, it's a memorable selection to say the least. If none of these scratch your head, I'd recommend waiting a few days, as there may be at least two more games coming into the Free-to-Keep event before the end of May.
