Nintendo has launched a new limited-time crossover event Super Mario Run which celebrates its opening on November 7 Mario and Luigi: Brotherhood. Super Mario Run is a mobile endless runner game by Nintendo, first launched in 2016. Despite being overlooked as the main series Super Mario game, is receiving a number of updates, some of which are tied to newly released Nintendo Switch games.
Super Mario Run No stranger to crossovers, the endless runner has had various events promoting other games. Earlier this year Super Mario Run got events that were based on different Mario spin-offs, incl Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door, Princess Peach: Showtimeand even a Luigi's Mansion 2 HD– thematic crossover. Themed events gave players a chance to obtain various items and statues based on characters from those titles, while also increasing the amount of medals players earned. With release Mario and Luigi: Brotherhood on Nintendo Switch, players can participate in an in-game event that brings new content and themed rewards.

Like other celebrations, this news too Super Mario Run the event will run for a limited time, where scavenging missions will bring the player closer to obtaining three in-game statues. These statues are based on the apparitions of Mario and Luigi v Brotherhoodalong with new NPC characters Connie and Snoutlet. The statues are a pair of Mario and Connie, Luigi and Snoutlet, and the Mario brothers together. This in-game event will be available until December 19, 2024.

Some of the special missions that bring players closer to getting these figurines include Clearing World 1-1 without defeating a Goomba or collecting 1500 coins in the World Tour. Some missions are pro Super Mario Run courses that are unavailable without purchasing them, but if the player links their Nintendo Account, certain courses can be unlocked and played without purchase. Certain mission-friendly odds such as 2-1, 3-3, 4-2 and 5-1 will be unlocked for free during the event.
Mario and Luigi: Brotherhood is the first Mario and Luigi a game developed after its original developer AlphaDream went out of business, meaning it has a lot of anticipation and hype behind it. Both Nintendo and Acquire were in development Mario and Luigi: Brotherhoodthe latter studio previously worked on games such as Octopath Traveler and Tench.
