This series invites viewers to expand their horizons and look within, and that's a really beautiful quality. It also shows the different forms of abuse that children experience and its dire consequences.

Themes aside, Takopi's Original Sin has yet to have a single bad episode and every week fans are blown away by what they get. If there's one anime that did no wrong this year and deserves a perfect score, it's Takopi's Original Sin.

An anime of such high quality absolutely deserves to be Anime of the Year and the fans know it very well. Unfortunately, Takopi can't go back in time and win the award, but earning the fans' recognition is more than enough.
