Fortnite and The Simpsons have taken their recent transition one step further by adding characters from the former to the beloved animated series and removing one of the game's most notable mascots. over the years Fortnite continued to partner with major pop culture franchises and The Simpsons proved to be an incredibly successful partnership.
The Simpsons officially arrived Fortnite November 1 brings iconic characters like Homer Simpson and Krusty the Clown. The collaboration seems to have extended beyond the Epic Games title, as Season 37 The Simpsons gave one Fortnite character hilariously scary ending.

In the episode, famous Fortnite characters like Jonesy, Meowscles and Fishstick are held at gunpoint on the Simpson family couch. The characters run, but Peely slips and falls, which unfortunately ends in his death. Although Peely is not seen killed, his untimely end is made clear when the Simpsons gather at the dinner table to eat a banana cup from his lifeless body. It's a wild and hilariously morbid turn of events that captures it perfectly The Simpsons” special brand of chaotic humor.
For fans of both Fortniteis Peely and The SimpsonsA terrible treatment of the character, the Springfielder Peely skin brings this iteration of the anthropomorphic banana to life in the game, minus the open torso full of cups. Peely may not have been with Fortnite since the beginning, but the two-legged banana continues to be one of the game's most notable mascots and is part of The Simpsons further demonstrates why this crossover was such a hit in such an unexpected way.
It was fascinating to see which major pop culture franchises Fortnite can connect with, a The Simpsons has one of the strongest legacies yet. After The Simpsons crossover, it can be challenging to create such a successful and beloved television show. The animated series has been going strong since 1989 and with it The Simpsons The movie finally gets a sequel in 2027, it will be interesting to see if Homer, Bart and the rest of the iconic residents of Springfield return for more Fortnite cooperation on the promotion of the film.
