Pragmatics is Capcom's latest IP that puts you in the shoes of a space engineer named Hugh who finds an android named Diana and the two end up working together to stop a hostile AI from taking over the space station and in turn keep Earth safe from trouble.
The third-person action-adventure game officially launches on April 17, but the exact release time will vary depending on your region and the platform you choose to play on. Pragmatics on. Keep reading to find out when it drops!

When does it fall?
PragmaticsThe release time explanation can be a bit confusing, but here's the gist. You can also check out our helpful time zone chart below for more information. But basically, if you play Pragmatics on Steam, the game will launch at 12pm ET on April 17th. It's a simultaneous launch, so if you're on the West Coast you can start playing at 9pm PT. For some other major cities, London will have access at 5am on 17 April; people in Tokyo will get it at 1pm on April 17th; and people in Auckland can play at 4pm on 17th April.
However, if you play Pragmatics on consoles such as Switch 2, PS5 and Xbox Series X/S, the game will be released globally at midnight local time. But if you're in the US, the time leaves the East Coast at midnight on April 17th. So if you are in the United States, the release time for Pragmatics it's the same whether you're on Steam or console. But for those outside the US, such as London, Berlin or Singapore, the game will be released at midnight local time.
So it means that if you live in the US and want to play Pragmatics you can theoretically create an account soon in another region such as New Zealand/Australia and purchase the game through the relevant digital store. I've done this a few times for Switch games to get a head start on coverage.

Whether the extra ten bucks is worth it to you to go for the Deluxe version depends on your interest in cosmetics. There are several outfits that you can unlock Pragmatics organically using a collectible called Cabin Coins at Shelter, but the four outfits in the Deluxe Edition appear to be exclusive.
either way Pragmatics is still definitely a game worth checking out in April 2026, regardless of which version you choose.
