Pansage, Pansear, and Panpour finally make their long-awaited Switch debut Pokemon Legends: ZA. Fans of the franchise without old-gen games or mobile downloads can finally complete their HOME pokedexes with the inclusion of these cute monkeys.
To help the player find these helpful little guys, you'll need to find them all in pursuit of one of the most random things ever: making an overpriced cup of tea. Unlike other Pokemon in the game, these little ones are not found in any wild zones. If you want to find all three, you will have to constantly patrol the streets and rooftops of the city.
How to Fill a Pan-Tastic Tea Pot
You can pick up at Cafe Cyclone Side Mission 018: Tasty Pot of Tea pretty early in your story. Your mission (if you choose to accept it) is catch all three pre-evolved monkeys and show them to the owner of Cafe Servando.
Once you find all three and show them, a new drink (Pantrio Tea) will be added to the Cafe Cyclone menu and you will receive the following rewards:

You cannot show Servanda the evolved forms of these monkeys. If you accidentally evolved your monkeys before talking to the cafe owner, you'll have to go out and catch them again.
Where to find Pansage, Panpour and Pansear
All three monkeys can appear in Y-shaped trees around Lumiose City, especially along Autumnal and Hibernal Avenues and in Jaune Plaza. However, weather conditions play a big role what kind of monkeys will appear most often on these trees.
- Pansage appear under normal weather conditions.
- Pansear appears more often in sunny weather.
- Panpour appears more often in the rains.
All these monkeys don't run away when spotted making them easier to capture once you actually locate them. Take your time line up your punch and choose the right pokeball.
You can catch any monkey in the trees in any weather, and it seems that Autumnal Avenue may have an increased chance of Pansear spawning. However, the weather will make some monkeys more common than others.
In addition to the tree method, there are also places on roofs where these monkeys can appear. The alpha version of these monkeys will actually only appear on rooftops. We Alpha spawn confirmed in two places:

On roof in sector Bleu 6, north of the gallery but south of Wild Zone 10.

On Rouge Street, at on the roof west of Dormez Bien Cemetery and one building north of the Looker Bureau.
The Rogue Street Alpha spawn also comes with many other pan-monkeys. This is the best place to catch all three types of monkeys at the same time.
Additionally, other rooftops will have normal wandering spawns. On the roof above the Bleu Pokemon Center will always have one random monkey.
Rooftops with large trees they also have a chance to spawn groups of monkeys. This rare event will have three or four monkeys gathered around eating berries, giving you great potential to catch more than one type at a time.
