Xbox Game Pass Ultimate he added Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 to its content library. This is the sixth new title to hit the subscription service since the beginning of November, as well as the 130th addition to Xbox Game Pass in 2024.
The latest entry in the long-running flight simulator series was originally announced at the June 2023 Xbox Games Showcase. Being developed by Xbox Game Studios subsidiary Asobo Studio, Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 it was always guaranteed to hit Xbox Game Pass on day one.

After about four years of development MFS 2024 hits Xbox Series X/S and PC on Tuesday, November 19 for $69.99. PC Game Pass and XGP Ultimate members can play the base game at no additional cost as part of their subscription. Upgrades to Deluxe and Premium editions Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 they are priced at $30 and $60. There's also an Aviator Edition upgrade available for $130, though die-hard fans who might be interested in an expanded array of aircraft and upgraded airports are likely to buy the $199.99 game outright rather than play it through a subscription service.

With this arrival, Xbox Game Pass now offers two entries in the iconic flight sim franchise for the first time ever: MFS 2020 and MFS 2024. As for the key differences, Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 boasts several unique selling points, including expanded career options, more realistic weather effects and seasons, more detailed locations in its massive world, and multiplayer enhancements along the lines of more robust social features. As usual, the new game promises to continue to push the graphical boundaries. Excludes Xbox Game Pass Standard editions, MFS 2024 is the sixth new title to reach Microsoft's subscription service in November 2024. It will follow STALKER 2: Heart of Chernobylthe highly anticipated and delayed immersive sim that is set to arrive on Wednesday, November 20th.
Metroidvania Nine Sols is then due to arrive on November 26, while RTS Aliens: Dark Descent joins him a day later. Shortly thereafter, Xbox Game Pass will lose eight titles on November 30, including some popular releases such as The Walking Dead: The Final Season, Conan's Exilesand Coral island.
