That's because it was originally introduced to members of the Xbox Insider Program, which provides early access to system updates and new features before they roll out. Insiders influence the gaming experience on Xbox by providing feedback, completing surveys, reporting issues, and even participating in playtests. The new Xbox Series X/S launch animation is now available for everyone
On June 10, Microsoft began rolling out an update that would bring, among other things, a redesigned startup animation and sound to the Xbox Series X/S console. Players will be able to display a new screen whenever they turn on their consoles while using shutdown (power saving) mode. The update also introduces new Gamerscore milestone badges that evolve as players increase their scores, with badge levels ranging from 1,000 to 10,000,000.
Another feature added in the update are new library filters that make it easier to distinguish owned games from shared games. It should also make it easier to spot titles that are owned, installed, or no longer accessible like they used to be on Xbox Game Pass. In addition, games that are not compatible with a specific device will not be displayed. For example, Kinect games will only appear on Xbox One consoles that support Kinect.
The update also brings a redesigned Rewards experience that can be accessed directly from the home screen, as well as sharper game images and graphics for Xbox Series X users who use their consoles in 4K resolution. Microsoft also implemented several bug fixes that affected game installations, update queues, and dashboard functionality.
