From playing through the first season SendI couldn't get his main gameplay loop out of my head. I'm not talking about the choice-based narrative part. That aspect of the game was excellent, don't get me wrong, but I found myself falling in love with its dispatch management gameplay loop, which saw me dispatching my team of misfits every day to deal with various problems around town. For me, the numbers, the strategy, it all just clicked – and I've been hungry for more ever since. Fortunately, a game appears to have emerged Steam it might satisfy that craving and even has a playable demo to whet my appetite.
Global rescue is management sim by City bus transport manager developer PeDePe GbR, which sees players build and operate their own rescue service base. From there, they'll “take over the exciting day-to-day operations of various first responders” by solving problems like fires, traffic accidents, medical emergencies and more, all from the comfort of their gaming chair. Basically it is Send no drama, perfect for those who want more of what this part of the game has to offer. Global rescue entered Steam Early Access on April 27, 2026 and has already managed to achieve a Very Positive rating. Now if I can somehow convince the developers to give us some of that sweet 80's infomercial music that plays during the shift Sendi will be sold

A new game on Steam lets you build Zelda-style dungeons
A new game released on Steam gives players the chance to build their own dungeons inspired by the Nintendo 64 games from the Zelda franchise.
Global Rescue is like shipping without the drama
Global rescue puts you in charge of an emergency response operation where every piece must work simultaneously. You choose a real-world city, build your HQ, hire staff and maintain a fleet of police, fire, EMS and SWAT units ready to deploy at any time. From there, the game becomes a constant balancing act, sending units into active calls while keeping enough resources in reserve for whatever comes next. Incidents don't wait their turn, and small problems can spiral if not dealt with quickly. There's also no story to drag things down. It's all about trying to keep the whole system from crashing when everything suddenly starts piling up.

While his Send– as a game loop sounds like a great time, Global rescueThe outstanding feature of the company is undoubtedly the fact that you can choose an actual city to operate from. The game uses accurate Overture Map data to generate custom maps, allowing you to choose your location from anywhere in the world, even if it's your hometown. It might not result in anything too stellar for some of us, but it's still a really innovative way to increase immersion in a game like this.
Global Rescue takes the gameplay of Dispatch to another level of management
Global rescue is not only infinite Send shift, however. When you're not responding to emergencies, you'll be busy building your base and outfitting it with various items and furniture to give it a personal touch. Here you will keep your emergency vehicles in top condition for future missions and ensure that there are enough wash bays, parking spaces, garages and gas stations available for them. There are also 23 different types of vehicles to choose from, including American, European and Asian. Your base can also be further expanded by unlocking upgrades in the game's research tree.
Then you will need to take good care of your employees in your headquarters with enough office space, break rooms and sanitary facilities so that they can work at maximum efficiency. They will also need good training if you hope to succeed once you start responding to emergencies. They certainly won't be as difficult to handle as superheroes Send's highly dysfunctional Z-Team, though. Once everything is taken care of at the base, you can start responding to emergencies that escalate over time and make the driving side of the game more and more difficult to juggle.

Currently, Global rescue is in Steam Early Access and looks like it could be in the next year or two. However, its Early Access plan relies heavily on community involvement, with the developer looking to continue developing the game along with player feedback over time. The current version already includes a fully playable base with a large pool of missions, vehicles and mod support via the Steam Workshop, but that's just the beginning. During Early Access, we'll focus on expanding with new mechanics and increasing the overall depth of the experience, with updates driven by what players respond to and request the most.
The team expects Global rescue remain in Early Access for roughly one to two years, although this window is flexible depending on how development progresses and how the community responds. Feedback will be collected through several channels, including Steam Discussion, Discord, and an in-game reporting system that allows players to directly submit and support ideas. These suggestions are meant to play a role in determining future updates, with the most popular requests ultimately being prioritized if the developer decides to move forward with them. As the game grows within Steam Early Access, the developer has also hinted that a price increase closer to its full release is likely.
If I haven't already said and implied enough, Global rescue it feels like the kind of sequel I've been waiting for since Season 1 finished Send. That loop of sending troops and trying to stay ahead is still there, but now it seems like it's been dialed back. Every decision feels like it matters because there's more to it, and that's what I know I'll probably be hooked on in the end. It's still early and there's clearly more to come, but if it's part of it Send clung to you the same way he clung to me Global rescue seems like a pretty easy recommendation.
Global rescue is currently in Early Access on Steamwith a playable demo available for download.
