This game puts emphasis on its actors
While Date All features a colorful, eye-catching art style and plenty of humor – such as dozens of little names and a rubber duck character who uses the word “duck” instead of other expletives – it's clear that the actors will be the focus. Each of the hundred characters will be fully voiced, and each dateable character will have at least three endings for players to try out. Date Everything is a focus on acting and an impressive cast of names could very well help it stand out among the best of the best dating sims.
The actors revealed in the advent calendar are far from the only big names taking part Date All. Other actors confirmed to be involved in the project include Laura Bailey, Ben Starr, Bryce Papenbrook, Felicia Day and more. Chase and Daymond will also voice characters in the game – a candelabrum and a group of coat hangers called “Hanks”.
It's no surprise that so many actors were eager to lend their voices Date All. The game begins with the player character losing his job and being replaced by an AI, which is something that Date All he is fully opposed from the first moment. Artificial intelligence replacement is currently a major concern for actors, with the potential for their voices and likenesses to be illegally and unethically captured and reused. Some of the Date Everything is cast members have previously spoken out against the use of artificial intelligence in video games and other creative media.
Date All its premise alone sets it apart from other games in its genre. But the game's determination to become a who's who of actors who effectively and capably bring its massive cast of dateable characters to life could potentially be Date Everything is the greatest power. Fans will be able to experience the star-studded cast of the game when Date All starts on Valentine's Day 2025.
