Genshin Impact officially reveals Yumemizuki Mizuki for version 5.4

Genshin Impact has officially introduced Yumemizuki Mizuki as the 5-star character Anemo of Inazuma, who will make her playable debut in version 5.4. Version 5.3 is expected to wrap up the Natlan storyline, Genshin Impact is preparing its players for a little adventure in Inazuma in the upcoming update. His flagship event will take place in Inazuma and will largely revolve around yokai, with Yae Miko taking center stage.

Mizuki in Genshin Impact She has been heavily rumored as a playable character since late 2024, with many leaks pointing to her becoming Inazuma's first Standard Banner character. The 5.4 beta confirmed Mizuki's Standard Banner status, but also revealed her power set and intended role. As a 5-star Anemo Catalyst, Yumemizuki Mizuki can be considered a premium sucrose with healing powers. While there are niches where Sucrose excels over Mizuki, her flexible role should give the new 5-star a spot on most Taser teams.

Genshin Impact Leak teases new version 5.4 event

A recent leak from Genshin Impact hints at a new character-focused event coming to the game during the upcoming 5.4 update.

It should be noted that Mizuki will be folded into a standard banner Genshin Impact after 5.4, and that collectible-oriented players should focus on getting her signature weapon instead.

While 5.3 is packed with content, 5.4 is significantly smaller in scope. It will only contain one new character Genshin Impactone story quest, no artifact domain, and will have no new map expansion. So the number of Primogems that players will be able to get in version 5.4 is lower than average.
