How to get Specialist in Warzone

The specialist returned back to Warzone after integration with Black Ops 6. For those who may not know, Specialist is a unique perk that, when acquired, will allow your character to access all available perks in the game at once. This powerful perk makes Specialist a critical advantage to gain in any matchup.

Normally your loadout is limited to just three perks, but with a specialist you can benefit from all of them at the same time, giving you a huge advantage over your opponents. If you're wondering how to get to the specialist, here's a step-by-step guide on how to unlock it.

How to get a specialist

To get your hands on Specialistyou must first obtain a special weapon known as a Redacted Weapon.

A Redacted Weapon is a weapon that contains eight appendicesrather than the standard five. These can be obtained in two ways: either from personal cargo, or you can find them on the map.

Whether you're playing Resurgence or Battle Royale, each of the available maps in Warzone features amount of redacted weapons placed in specific locations.

When you get close to one, you'll notice that it does
rare red color
indicating that it is a modified weapon.

While finding them can be competitive as more players are likely going after them, you can too create a gun with eight attachments using the Gunfighter wild card.

Once you have your modified weapon, either from your arsenal or as loot, head to the nearest weapon shop station. Open your map, ping one and get there.

When standing in front of the machine, equip your modified weapon. The trade offer will show you what you will get in return for the equipped weapon.

In this menu, you will not only get a weapon and a random killstreak and loot, but most importantly you will unlock the Specialist. This will equip your character all available benefits in the game, giving you a significant advantage.

While Care Package killstreaks have a chance to drop the Specialist, it's not guaranteed and can't always be relied upon.
