Konohamaru is the exciting part Naruto franchise. Fans have known him since the very beginning of the story, as a little boy. He has grown up in front of the fans over the years and is now a proud Jonin of the Hidden Leaf Village. Konohamaru is the current leader of Team 7 and fans know him to be incredibly powerful, although it can be said that in many ways Konohamaru has failed to live up to the reputation he has set for himself.

As the grandson of the Third Hokage and apprentice of the 7th Hokage, fans expected great things from him. Unfortunately, so far in Boruto series, he was lackluster and a lot of that is because the writer didn't give him a chance to shine. However, now is the time for Konohamaru Sarutobi to take a big step forward and become much stronger, proving to all the fans that he is a worthy candidate to become the next Hokage of the village. The best thing about this mission is that there is no Boruto and Kawaki to take all the attention as they appear again and again in Boruto series.
