Pokemon Go revealed plans for June's Community Day event, which will focus on Frigibax, a Dragon/Ice type from the Paldea region. Community Day events have become a popular feature Pokemon Go over the years as they offer a number of in-game bonuses during a short window. Most importantly, players have an increased chance of encountering a highlighted Pokémon's Shiny variant.
Pokemon GoThe Frigibax Community Day event will take place on Saturday 20 June from 2pm to 5pm local time. During that time, Frigibax will appear much more frequently in the wild, and players will have a better chance of finding either the shiny version or the version with a special background. Players who evolve Arctibax during or up to four hours after the event will receive Baxcalibur, which knows the Featured Attack Glaive Rush. Additional bonuses include double Candy and triple Stardust on all catches. Players above level 31 will also have a double chance to get XL Candy.
