How to get Feedback Resonator in Subnautica 2
To continue in Subnautica 2, you need to upgrade your Sonic Resonator to a Feedback Resonator.
Installing the Comfort Tweaks mod requires the use of the Mod Manager, the installation of which we will explain below.
How to change FOV in Subnautica 2
Head over to Nexusmods and download UE4SS Mod Manager for Subnautica 2. Now extract the file. It will give you the “ue4ss” folder as well as the .dll file. Copy both and paste them into the following directory in your installation location Subnautica 2:

Inside the ue4ss folder is a Mods folder. Every new mod you want to install Subnautica 2 must be placed in this Mods folder.
Now it's time to download FOV mod. You can get the Comfort Tweaks mod from Curseforge. After downloading, unzip the file. Copy the “Subnautica2ComfortTweaks” folder to the Mods directory stated above.
In the same Mods directory you should find a mods.txt file. Open it and add the following command to the list of mods in the file:

Save the txt file and close it. Now navigate to the “Subnuatica2ComfortTweaks” directory. Open the scripts folder. Then open the config.lua file using Notepad. Here, you will find a line that says “Target FOV = 100”. Changing this number will change the FOV in the game.
Higher numbers mean more zooming out and lower numbers mean more zooming in. The game's default FOV is 90. Note that 100 is not the maximum value. You can set it to something like 120 or even 130.
Once you set the FOV, save the changes and close the file. If you start the game now, it will start with the new FOV.
You can press F7 in game to enable or disable the mod. This will toggle the FOV between the default value (90) and the value you set in the configuration file.
It might seem like a complicated process, but follow the guide as we wrote it and you'll be enjoying the FOV slider while you wait for something official to drop.
