However, this action would infuriate Shigaraki as he felt his organization was being disrespected. Although this is not the ideal situation that Shigaraki desired, the League's interference in Stain's action caused the two to link up, raising the League's standing.

Following this, many of Stain's followers joined the League of Villains, giving Shigaraki the manpower to threaten the Pro Heroes and achieve his goal of defeating All Might and destroying everything he dislikes. Although Shigaraki realizes that his new subordinates are Stain's followers, his new beliefs help him develop into a true leader of the League of Villains.

After All For One was arrested, Shigaraki took his position of the League of Villains seriously and began to strategize ways to raise his position and defeat his enemies. Shigaraki consistently looked out for the League's best interest, and various proposals and offers to incorporate the League into Shie Hassakai were met with swift rejection. While the League of Villains merged with the Meta Liberation Army to form the Paranormal Liberation Front, Shigaraki was still proud of the League and always thought of the original members.
