Crimson Desert is a game full of various pieces of armor, weapons, consumables and key items that you can easily miss if you don't want to explore them. While some of them aren't worth the effort, Kuku packs are some of the best equipment in the game and can greatly improve your quality of life.
One of them is the Kuku Watcher Pack, which summons two invincible drones around you that constantly damage enemies during combat. The Kuku Watcher Pack is great for fighting groups of enemies or dealing heavy damage to bosses, a must have in my opinion. Here's everything you need to know about getting the Kuku Watcher Pack to have your own personal army.
Kuku Watcher Pack Plan Location
Craft A Kuku Pack
The first thing you need to do when getting a Kuku Watcher Pack is to just create a Kuku Pack. To unlock it, you must first get the quest “The Witch of Wisdom” and then to cleanse the Sanctuary of Repentance. This location can be found southeast of the capital city of Hernand and northwest of the Willow River.
Similar to all the other shrines, you will need to kill all the cultists guarding the area until the percentage bar reaches zero. Then find the reactor core and place it in the machine. Doing so will turn on the machine and trigger a cutscene with the witch giving you the plan for the Kuku Pack.
Now head to the Kilnden workshop which is west of Hernand's town and talk to Grimnir to craft a Kuku Pack.

Crimson Desert: Kuku Disruptor Spear Location Guide
Here's how to get the Kuku Disruptor Spear and its plan in Crimson Desert.
Unlock The Witch Of Kindess Quest
With the Kuku Pack in your inventory, we can start looking for the Kuku Watcher Pack plan. To get started, we first need to unlock “The Witch of Kindness” quest in Pailune. In this northern area, you'll want to head southeast from the Wayward Woods into the mountains to look for a small tent with a woman freezing to death.
Approach the woman and find the small pan next to her and light the fire. This causes him to approach the fire, warming himself and thanking him for saving his life. To no one's surprise, this woman reveals herself to be a witch and invites you to visit her home. This will be marked on your map and is directly north of your current position.
When you arrive at her house, talk to Bari and listen to her request to unlock “The Witch of Kindness” faction quest. Doing so will cause the cultists to attack all shrines throughout Pailune, allowing us to progress further in obtaining the Kuku Watcher Pack.
Cleanse the Sanctuary of Atonement
After getting the quest from Bari, head to the Sanctum of Atonement. You can find it directly west of Hunated Hills and north of A in Hernand on your map. When you arrive, clear out all the cultists moving around until the percentage bar in the upper left corner of the screen reaches zero. There are no hidden bosses and the only enemies you'll really have to worry about are flying wizards that can be killed with a few arrows.
With the cultists dead, you'll need to find both the reactor core and the missing part of the pillar. Head to the north end of the shrine and look for a side room with two small doors inside the main chamber. Go through the door and look up to find a pillar floating above your head near the ceiling.
Go back out the door and go through the main chamber to another small rectangular door directly across from where you just got the pillar. This one will be a bit more obscured by plants, so if you're struggling to find it, use the photo above. Similar to the pillar, inside this tower you will find the reactor core you need floating above you.
Take them both out and put them in the machine to clear the shrine. This will trigger a cutscene where Bari will thank you for your help and reward you with the Kuku Watcher Pack plan.
Before you leave, be sure to light the two torches that are to the right of the room with the iron bars. Igniting both will lower the bars into this room, giving you access to a chest that contains a Refined Palmer Pill and a Mirror of Knight shield!
Location of Kuku Watcher Pack material
Abyss Cell 0 Location
As for materials, you'll need quite a few, so we'll start with one of the easiest. Abyss Cell 0 are those large spherical Abyss Cells that you find when you use Focus Force Palm on specific materials to destroy them. There are many places you can find them throughout the region.
If you claim them, you can find three Abyss Cell 0s north of the Denn River in Northern Demeniss. Head to Hollow Haven and then go a little southeast from there. Look for a small rock wall that has a wall of bismuth ore. Approach the wall and use your focus palm to destroy the three cores through the wall.
This will cause the wall to crumble, allowing you to grab the Abyss Cell 0s and seal them in your Kuku Pot.
Mechanical insects
The next material on our list is 300 Clockwork Insects. Fortunately, this is a lot less tedious than it sounds, as the Kuku Pack we created earlier is all you need to actually collect these insects. Head southeast to the Delesyia region and start looking for large swarms of dragonflies and ants.
These travel in droves across the region, but circled in the image above are some good spots to check out. The best location, if you haven't progressed past Chapter 10 in the main quest, is around the Gate of Peace in northeastern Delesyia. The soldiers along the bridge are being attacked by a basically endless swarm of Clockwork Dragonflies, so run up to them and equip your Kuku Pack.
Press both triggers at the same time to open the package and start vacuuming up any nearby bugs. You can easily get dozens and dozens of them in seconds, and the Clockwork Dragonfly swarms will keep respawning every few seconds. This makes it much easier to get 300 of them for our Kuku Watcher Pack.
When the Kuku Pack is activated, you can track how many bugs you have in the upper right corner of the screen.
Electrical components
For Electrical Components, you'll want to head north of Mount Benus along the main road to the Blue Thicket. On this path leading to the large island to the east, you'll encounter several large mechanical golems with drills and saws. These are fairly tough enemies that can deal a lot of damage, so focus on using Explosive Arrows or your strongest moves like Turning Slash to defeat them.
After destroying the golem, they will have a chance to drop an Electric Component where they died. It is a large mechanical part that resembles an engine and sparks with electricity. Grab it with your Axiom Force, then select “Seal” to store it in your Kuku Pot.
This is the only way to get the electric components, so keep killing these big golems until you seal the three you need to make the Kuku Watcher Pack.
Small batteries
The last material you need is 200 small batteries, which again can only be found in the Delesyia region. Small batteries can drop from a number of enemies such as smaller robots and golems. The two places I recommend farming these enemies for small batteries are around Marni Mechworks and Marni's Matserium (circled above).
Until you completely clear these areas, an endless amount of patrol bots will appear. Hang out on one of the paths near these strongholds and kill them whenever they appear. Robots have a high chance of dropping small batteries upon death, which you can collect either manually or with your pet.
Unlike electrical components and mechanical insects, collecting 200 batteries will take time. It is best to passively collect them while liberating various locations or completing faction quests in the area. Once you have all the necessary materials, return to the Kilnden Workshop and talk to Grimnir. Bring up its crafting menu and select the Kuku Watcher Pack to craft it.
Now you can equip it and deploy your new drone friends to help you in battles whenever they are needed!
